Hey there Deluge friends!
Hope all is well with each of you. Let’s imagine this scenario shall we. You’re the worship leader at your church. You know that Easter is right around the corner. You’ve made your whole song list but something seems missing. The songs you’ve picked are great, but you want something new, something fresh. Something that has never been done at your church before. You’ve searched and searched iTunes but have just come away empty handed and frustrated. When suddenly you think to yourself, “I wish the Deluge guys would write a new song that we could do for Easter.” Well today is your lucky day folks! Not only have we written a new song for Easter, “He Rose”, but we’ve put it on YouTube for you to see and hear! But wait! There’s more! Need the lyrics and chords? Well just click here He Rose.
Hope you guys enjoy it! Let us know what you think.
God bless,
Deluge
Dear friends of Deluge,
Thank you so much for all of your love and support for what we do. I want to tell you of something coming up that is a change for us, but we believe that it is for the good. Last year we hosted the first Deluge Worship Conference. By far, it was our favorite conference of last year and we anticipated doing it again this year. As many of you know, we are scheduled to host this conference October 21-23. After much thought, prayer, and consensus of our team, we have decided to postpone the conference and join together with our annual remnant conference. The Remnant is a movement of pastors that are seeking to see a restoration of integrity in ministry. We felt as a church team that joining the two conferences would increase our ability to minister not only to pastors, but to worship leaders and teams as well. I understand that many of you have made commitments to be with us in October, but I ask that you extend some grace to us with this change and plan on attending the Remnant conference March 1-3, 2011.
This conference will no doubt be a life changing event and all I can say to you is, BE HERE!!
Jonathan
In case you missed it, here is our 700 Club interview.

We are so excited about our upcoming Deluge Worship Conference. Last years conference was amazing and this year is going to be even better! We have guest worship leaders Eddie James from the Ramp in Hamilton AL, Thomas Miller and the worship team from Gateway Church in Dallas TX, and Joseph and Tosha Zwanziger from The Father’s House in Vacaville CA. Guest speakers include Bob Sorge and our very own Pastor Larry Stockstill. Of course we, the Deluge guys, will be there, plus some other friends we have here at our home church, Bethany.
The dates are Wednesday, October 20 through Friday, October 22. The cost will be $50 for an individual pass (just you) or $300 for a church pass (group of 6 or more). We are encouraging whole worship teams to attend. $300 for as many people as you can bring from your church? Yep. Load up the church bus, and head on over to Bethany!
We have some great sessions planned, plus lot’s of ‘soak’ times of worship!
We really hope to see you and your team there.
12 days away from home,
10 worship services,
1600+ miles of driving,
3400+ miles in the air,
5000+ miles traveling,
500+ souls saved,
Unbelievable!
What an amazing time. It has been such a privilege to lead so many different groups of people in worship all over this great country. We are so thankful for all you guys who came out and worshiped with us. You all blessed us so much! Thank you for all the love! But foremost, we are thankful for God’s presence showing up every night and changing people lives, including our own! He is so faithful and holy! Seeing over 500 people, young and old, give their hearts to Him was by far the greatest part of the whole trip. Our goal for the tour could be summarized by one scripture, John 12:32. “And when I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw everyone to myself.” Jesus was magnified every night, and people came to know Him better than they had known Him before. Awesome!
We would love to hear your feedback from any of the nights. If you, or someone you know, came out, and God really touched your life during the worship, let us know! Leave a comment on this post and tell us all about it.
Once again, thank all you guys for coming out and worshiping with us. You all ROCK!

Last night in Tampa was AWESOME! We had the privilege of “breaking in” the new youth building at The Crossing Church. The room was electric. It seats around 600 people but they crammed over 700 into the building. Standing room only. Glad the fire marshal wasn’t there! Pastor Bernard Scott was the host/emcee for the evening. What a great man. Jonathan and Bernard have been friends since Jonathan was just 13 years old. It is always a very big honor for us to lead worship at anything Pastor Bernard is a part of. The worship service went great. Kids going crazy during ‘Crazy’ and singing ‘Open Up The Sky’ at the top of their lungs! The highlight of the evening was definitely the altar call/ time of ministry. 46 people came and gave their hearts to the Lord! It was amazing! It is so cool to see people giving their hearts to Jesus when there has been no sermon preached. His presence was so strong in the room that people just knew they needed to get right with Him! Love that! So all that to say, if you live in the Tampa area and need a great church, check out The Crossing Church. It’s a great place to worship and learn about Jesus!
Well, we are in Orlando tonight at the Church In The Son and can’t wait to see what He is going to do! Come out and worship with us. It’s definitely going to be a great night!
Until then,
Deluge
All we can say is wow. We are 3 days into the tour and are blown away with how well it has started. The months of planning and preparation are totally paying off. After doing 2 nights of worship already, we have experienced 0 technical glitches. The sound company, Soundscapes, headed up by Lang Holland, has been a dream to work with. It is a new experience for us to be touring with a sound crew. We are normally at the mercy of the house sound at the venue or church that we go to. It’s mind blowing to show up at a venue, and just plug in. All the levels are already set, the monitors are perfect and we can just get to work. Love it. Getting spoiled to it. Want them to be with us everywhere! Our fellow musicians can definitely feel us on this one! Now, let’s talk about the actual nights of worship. In a nutshell, God has shown up, people have experienced freedom in worship and many have been saved. It is so awesome to see different age groups of people abandon themselves and worship Jesus with all their hearts. Both young and old have convinced their feet to leave this earth during ‘I Wanna Dance’! “… It’s biblical. So don’t be critical. Can’t hold it in. You shouldn’t have to”. We have mainly been doing songs from the new record, but we’ve snuck in a few from the last one. In Destin, we got into ‘Open Up The Sky’ (not in the set list) and it went great. The response to the new song, ‘Refuge’, has been tremendous. We have shown the “song story” for it both nights so far, and people are totally connecting with the heart and message of the song. Also, Ms. Evie James Stockstill has joined us on stage to emphasize how faithful our God is and that He is still a miracle worker! If you don’t know the story behind “Refuge’, check out our Unshakable EPK. It explains it all. Something else really cool on the tour so far, Melissa Stockstill, Jonathan’s sister, has been playing the harp with us during worship. The harp is such a unique sound to add to a typical worship set. It totally brings a classical influence to our modern sound. The people have been blown away by it. You just don’t see a professional harpist everyday. We were honored to have Pastor Larry Stockstill speak last night in Destin. He told the people that they all have a calling on their lives, and that God wants to use them in a special and unique way. Many people came forward to be saved and ministered to. It was awesome!
Well, we are currently in Destin, FL, about to head to Pensacola to do a night of worship at Brownsville Assembly of God. We are looking forward to another amazing night of glorifying our King and seeing people set free from whatever bondages are holding them back. Please pray for our continued safety as we travel, and that God will continue to lead us every night.
Until then,
Deluge

Hey friends! Welcome to our new website. We have slapped on a new coat of paint, added some new content, deleted some old content and made this site way more user friendly. We will be posting new stuff all the time. Pics from the road, videos, tutorials… all kinds of fun info. We really do want to hear from you as well. Feel free to comment on anything we post, and let us know what you think. Ask questions. Brainstorm with us. Whatever! Ok then, enough about the new site. You should go download Unshakable, our newest release. It came out today, April 13, 2010. It is really cool. (at least we think so!)
Until next time,
